People might have different reactions to the different articles on the wallsheet journal. The journal consists of articles of every kind. From politics, entertainment, business among other fields. The information on these articles on the wallsheet journal is eighty percent true. On this reaction paper, I would like to react on a story in an article published in February 2018 about Steve Wynn who resigned from a company due to sexual misconduct allegations early this year.
Stephen Wynn was the chief executive officer of his company before he resigned. This was due to sexual allegations. Mr. Wynn denied all the allegations and termed them as preposterous. He called this negative publicity on him and quick judgment by the public on information which was not true. This might sound unfair to him and his Casino job, but he deserved it to expose the kind of evil deeds he has been doing to the female employees over years. In 2005, a manicurist went to his office for an appointment; he pressured her to disrobe, lie on his massage table and have sex. When the woman reported to the human resource department, he paid her to get rid of the story.
Mr. Wynn was one of the most popularizing and magnetic figures in the gambling industry. He used his position to misuse women who came looking for jobs and also his employees. This is against the law and Mr. Wynn story should be investigated and found guilty, he should pay for his actions. His company accepted his resignation wholeheartedly. This is due to misuse of power that Mr. Wynn had at his CEO position. The company also failed by not reporting the casino mogul to the local authorities for his evil deeds. They kept covering him which contributed to him repeating these evil deeds again and again.
Mr. Wynn also stepped down as the chairman of Wynn Macau, the company arm that focuses on Macau, the Chinese gambling enclave. This was good for Mr. Wynn because a leader should never be evil. A leader should uphold morals for his subordinates to follow. Therefore Mr. Wynn would no longer stand to be a CEO and chairman with these allegations on him. Although these companies really praised him for his good work as a beloved leader and visionary, the public was his shoulders and he had to leave. Shout out to the article writers of the wallsheet journal for exposing this evil leader.
Mr. Wynn has been a businessman in the gambling industry for quite some time. According to the wallsheet journal article, he arrived at Las Vegas with his father Mike Wynn as a young boy (Astor & Creswell, 2018). His father was a bingo parlor operator at the east coast. After his death, Steve and his wife took over the business. He later on opened Mirage in 1989, moved to Bellagio and soaring the Wynn hotel and encore towers. He introduced visitors to the strip where they were not only gambling. Through these businesses, Mr. Wynn was giving jobs to people and that was really good of him. But the way he treated the employees especially women was wrong.
Mr. Wynn is a womanizer if I may say. He married his first wife at nineteen years; they divorced, rema...
