Kindred: First Person Family Narrative

Other (Not Listed) Instructions:

Craft a first-person narrative is taken from your family’s history. In Kindred, our narrator Dana actually goes back in time to meet her ancestors and relay their story. In your narrative, you will write a story based on your relative’s experience and tell the story in the first-person point of view from that person’s perspective. (If Alice was your ancestor, for example, you would attempt to write the story of a significant moment in her life by making her the first-person narrator of the story, as opposed to having another narrator witness her story.)
This is just a brief instruction of what is expected. Everything you write could be totally fake. You could make up everything, however, just try to make it seems real. The instruction doc will be attached as well as some examples. Please take your time to go through them. Thank you!

Summary
Our household was filled with love and happiness. It was an ancestral house owned by my great-grandparents located in Guilin. My father, mother, and sister all resided there. Our family loved hanging out together, and we spent most of our time hiking, camping, and picnicking. We were influenced by my father, who was deeply connected to nature.
My father was fearless and daring. He was a big fan of nature since it gave him serenity. My father considered nature to be an essential component of his identity. She would not say anything unless you were the first to approach her. Her heart was the purest and largest I had ever known. She showered us with affection. My younger sister was the most beautiful woman for me. Her eyes were enticing, her smile was charming, her skin was flawless, and everything about her was perfect. We did not get along, but she was the only friend I had known. And how about me? They said I resembled my father and shared many of his characteristics.
Weekends and holidays were always exciting because they were the only times when our family could travel on vacation. Everyone was busy on weekdays; my sister and I went to school, while my father went to work and my mother stayed home. I had already witnessed the beauty and peril of nature at the age of nine. My father would take us to mountains, hills, rivers, falls, and seas. We were never deterred by the length of the trails, the depths of the seas, the rapid flow of water, the blazing sun, powerful winds, storms, or wild creatures. The exquisite success of each journey had become our motivation - reaching the peaks of the mountains, the falls, the first dip in the oceans, the meals we would have, the stories and laughter we would share, ...
