After reading the literary work you will write a 125-word summary/response (S/R) to the reading assignment. The first half of what you write should be a summary of what you read - write it as if your reader has not read what you did (give the main points of the article). What questions does it make you think of and why? What tone does the author use and is it effective? Who is the author’s target audience and what in the article indicates that audience?
