Hello Peter, as the company’s CEO of our healthcare facility, you know that the company has experienced a system failure over the last two days. After analyzing the system, we realized that the system had been hacked. The system currently has some viruses sending the data to the hacker. The hackers are currently asking for some money or exposing some of the sensitive data to the general public. Moreover, the hackers have also locked some of the organization’s critical files.
Since the company has sensitive information regarding our client, the company is looking forward to acting fast to prevent hackers from using the data. The organization is therefore looking for instant measures to prevent losing more information. The company is looking forward to bargaining with the hackers as it is embracing these measures.
During this period, the company is supposed to communicate with all our stakeholders. For instance, we look forward to notifying our clients that we have lost control of our system. We will post this information on all our social media platforms. Since most of our clients are online, the information will easily spread. This process will help the clients refrain from responding to negative comments during this period. We will also assure them they do not panic since we are working on it and will notify them when we reclaim our systems. This process will help to understand what is happening, thereby reducing anxiety. Furthermore, we will notify all our employees of what is currently happening. We will reach all the employees through memos and workplace WhatsApp groups. We will also advise them to remain focused and embrace measures that could help reclaim our systems.
