Problem Statement: why is your idea needed? This is a good place to integrate some findings from your research (1-2 paragraphs).
Project Description: describe your project/organization/initiative (2-3 paragraphs). What is it? What will you do? How will you overcome or address the obstacles revealed by your SWOT analysis? Get specific: give enough details to make the program come to life. What does success look like? How will you know?
DEIA: identify components of your project that address diversity, equity, inclusion, and access. How does your DEIA goals go beyond the superficial and become structural? (1 paragraph or address this category throughout the proposal in relation to specific sections.)
Timeline: What are the steps involved and when will they happen? How long will it take to accomplish your goals?
SWOT Analysis (graph/chart or 1-page list). Examine the Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Threats to your project. Consider internal factors and external conditions, including non-arts issues (population shifts, consumer behavior, changes in laws, technology, or social norms). This is another opportunity to integrate findings from your background research report OR to integrate other research.
Stakeholders: who are your stakeholders and how do you prioritize them? Who will be served by your project? Who are your potential allies? Who are your potential supporters? Who are your potential competitors? (1 paragraph)
Resource Development Plan: how will you build financial support for your plan? Earned income? Investors? Grants? Other? How will these resources be leveraged or implemented at each stage? How will you sustain the project? (1 paragraph)

About Organization: The organization's name is “Art for Sustainability International.” The organization is dedicated to using art for entertainment and in ways that touch on society, especially sustainability. Art for Sustainability International appreciates that sustainability has become critical in today’s world. The increase in human activities has accelerated the use of natural resources in a way that adversely affects the environment. The organization acknowledges that art influences how people view societal issues. Hence, art can play a critical role in creating environmental awareness.
The objective of Art for Sustainability International is to lead in the promotion of arts by fostering critical and creative thinking to create awareness regarding environmental sustainability. This outlines the need for community engagement to achieve the organization’s goals. The organization achieves the objective by focusing on both visual and performing art. For visual art, Art for Sustainability International will invite artists to display their craft. Here, photos and portraits will be used to create awareness regarding the need for sustainability. Regarding performing art, actors, dancers, and singers will be invited. They will be required to come up with performances that align with the objectives of the performance.
A team of individuals manages the organization. The CEO is responsible for the day-to-day running of the organization. The departmental heads (finance, human resource, technology, and marketing) report directly to the CEO. There is a board of management that oversees the activities of the organization. They hold the CEO accountable and are responsible to the various stakeholders, like the donors.
Mission Statement: To assist solve the climate change crisis by using art to raise awareness and share climate solutions. Both visual and performing art can help increase knowledge of climatic issues. Climate change is one of the issues that some people may not want to take the time and understand, especially when they consider it boring. Since art attracts people, the project will use it to communicate important issues.
Problem Statement: The world is at a defining moment because of the dangers that climate change poses to the globe. Climate change denotes the long-term changes in temperatures and weather patterns. The shifts may be a result of natural causes. However, since the 1980s, human activities have played a significant role in climate change, majorly because of the burning of fossil fuels. The Human footprint on greenhouse gases (GHGs) has increased because of industrialization, deforestation, and large-scale agriculture, among other human activities (Ahmed 29778). The high concentration of GHGs is responsible for the average global temperatures on earth.
