Dance was vital to European courts in the past, and one of the most renowned theatrical dance styles was born as a result. Other courts, on the other hand, have used dancing in significant ways, such as symbols of cultural and national identity.  The Asante people of Ghana, West Africa; the Javanese people of Java, Indonesia; and the Japanese people of Japan also had court dances.
Ghana's Asante is a West African tribe. For the Asante, dance is a focal point of politics and power. Moreover, there is a connection between dancing and drumming. Celebrations, paying honor, expressing respect, and displaying authority all require them.
In Japan, the Bugaku dances are common, and they are a blend from China, Korea, and India. The dances involve simple geometric patterns, and sometimes masks are used to represent fictional persons.
