           The film I chose is Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, directed by Steve Barron and released in 1990. The film became a financial and box office success after bringing in more than 200 million dollars on the box office while its total budget was 13.5 million dollars. The main reason behind the film’s success is its ability to entertain a variety of people from the audience, including kids and grownups. It is based on fictional characters popular among kids, making it a viable movie for children to watch. Likewise, the film incorporates martial arts, comedy, and a storyline comprehensible for both adults and kids. When Steve Barron made the film, he broke out of the comfort zone that many directors were used to and tried one that people thought would be controversial; he mixed fantasy and article arts in a film meant for adults and kids (Baron 46.00).
