A qualitative research design is the best to show how Bill Gates’ personality contributed to his success in the technology industry. Gates has always been an ambitious person with big dreams. Additionally, he had impressive technical skills in coding. During his college years, Gates developed an algorithm that solved a long-intractable combinatorial issue that was applied in mathematics (Yoffie and Cusumano, 2021). The individual has always been a pragmatist and perceives things positively. He believes that everything is possible if one puts effort and does not lose hope regardless of the challenges that might occur.
Tanvi Shah and Zubin Mulla argue that charisma is crucial in transformational leadership. These researchers classify Gates as an achievement-oriented manager (Shah and Mulla, 2014).
