Personal Development Plan
I have struggled to inspire my team to live up to its full potential. The self-assessment test I took also showed that I am not communicating my goals and visions effectively. There seems to be diminished synergy in the team and low morale with their work. The goal is to ensure that the team is running like a well-oiled machine, with each individual delivering the best he/she can offer.
SMART Goals
Specific
To motivate and encourage the team members to increase their morale, productivity, and performance as indicated by their KPIs in the next one year. I need all the team members to be motivated to do their best without supervision in their respective dockets. I want each of them to feel that he/she ‘owns’ the project and strive to do what is best for the team CITATION Kat19 \l 1033 (Boogard, 2019). Mobilizing the team and creating synergy and high morale levels is imperative to achieving the objectives and milestones of the project efficiently and faster.
Measurable
This will be measured by looking at employees’ KPIs, productivity, and performance. There is a system in place to measure employee KPIs which include work quality key performance metrics like the number of errors, product defects, etc. work quantity performance metrics include units produced, sales numbers, contacts contacted, etc. other metrics include absenteeism, overtime per employee, work efficiency, etc. all these metrics will be used to track and determine the efficacy of any measures I will take to inspire and motivate my workforce.
Achievable
Goals need to be achievable to ensure they are anchored in realistic expectations, and there are tools to track the progress to show the ch...
