Evidence-based practice (EBP) refers to the judicious and conscientious use of the current evidence in collaboration with the clinical expertise and observing patient values to enhance proper decision-making. The primary goal of the EBP is to improve patients’ safety and care to minimize the variations and costs of the health outcomes. I reviewed the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) website. In particular, EBP appears in the CDC’s vision, mission, goals, core values, disease prevention strategies, and other various parts of the health organization (Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, 2022). Besides, the CDC’s vision is to equitably protect the safety, health, and security of Americans.
The CDC’s work is grounded in EBP. Indeed, the health organization works 24.7 to safeguard the United States of America (USA) from health, security, and safety threats that might emanate from inside and outside the country.
