Yes, the life stage impacts how you interact with health care specialists. It is essential to manage the patient's conditions and open and therapeutic dialogue between the patient and their care providers. In order to fulfill the needs in building an appropriate care plan, clinicians rely on patient-provided information because what patients say impacts the evaluation (Busschbach et al., 1993). The health care system interacts with patients of different stages of life and ages, with different perspectives, which influences their perspectives on these systems. In an attempt to understand and learn more about individual experiences and interactions of stages of life and health care systems, I interviewed my best friend.
The current stage of my life affects the interaction with health care professionals because the older a person gets, the more health issues occur. This leads to an individual spending more time with the health specialists, especially the PCP. This leads to a complete change in lifestyle to address the medical issues never experienced before—the most recent hospital experience of pains during swallowing and stomach pain issues. The nurses and the physicians performing the testing were patient and encouraging since the tests were challenging and uncomfortable. The tests were conducted in the outpatient gastroenterology center recommended by the primary care physician. The families are made aware of how to handle the circumstance to help improve their patient's condition; yes, the healthcare providers see to it. They play a critical role in ensuring that the patient's treatment continues after leaving the facility.
