Following on from your request to engage in creating a marketing campaign for you to drive the expansion of the home health care service of Blue Bird Care into Huddersfield, this letter discusses key aspects of my job as a health care marketer and how our engagement will move forward and marketing campaign will be created.
I am a health care marketer who designs marketing solutions for clients who want to achieve certain goals. In your case, the goal is to expand the healthy body, healthy mind service to a new area. I analyze that your service is about eliminating boredom from older people’s lives and turning them positive. What needs to be appreciated is that health care marketing is unique from other industries. First of all, unlike others, health care businesses can measure the success of their marketing campaigns more easily than others. In other words, key performance indicators (KPIs) are visible; for example, the new number of patient visits indicates the success of a health care marketing campaign. Secondly, marketing is focused on expert knowledge of the subject and problems. It means that the service marketers must focus on the sort of healthcare-related information that their client publishes in the media and whether or not that shows enough expertise and can earn credibility (Hosseini et al., 2016).
