An evaluation of a person's level of stress and the factors that contribute to it is known as a stress assessment. The method for stress assessment was described by the authors Pokhrel and Khanal. An initial consultation is held with the person as part of the first step in a stress assessment. The assessor might make inquiries during this meeting to learn more about the person's signs and symptoms as well as how they cope with stress. The next step is to evaluate the person's signs and symptoms of stress. It might be necessary to measure stress levels and identify specific symptoms using questionnaires or surveys. The assessor will work to pinpoint the precise stressors that are causing those symptoms once they have a clear understanding of the patient's symptoms. This may entail taking a close look at the person's job, personal life, and other potential stressors. Along with assessing the person's coping mechanisms, the assessor will look for any areas that might require extra help. This could entail investigating the person's capacity for stress management, such as through mindfulness, physical activity, or other stress-reduction methods. The assessor will create a plan for dealing with the person's stress based on the assessment. This may entail advising particular coping mechanisms, altering the person's job or personal circumstances, or directing the person to other healthcare specialists for additional support. The final step in a stress assessment is the follow-up to assess how well the plan worked and to make any necessary modifications. Additional evaluations, ongoing counseling, or other interventions to support the person's mental health and well-being may be necessary.
There are various methods and plans that will assist people in coping with and lowering their levels of stress. Regular physical activity, such as aerobic exercises, yoga, or Pilates, are some helpful stress-reduction strategies that can also improve your overall physical and mental health. One aspect of mindfulness meditation, according to some patients, is paying attention to the present moment while remaining nonjudgmental about one's thoughts and feelings. People who use this technique can better control their stress and anxiety. Social support, such as spending time with friends and family, getting help from a therapist or support group, or speaking with a dependable coworker or mentor, can help people manage stress and cope with challenging circumstances. A regular sleep schedule and getting enough sleep can help people feel less stressed and have better overall health and well-being (Swan, Kenn, Reynolds & Onwumere 2017).
Edelman & Kudzma (2022) describes holistic nursing as treating the whole person rather than just the symptoms of a disease or illness. This method may affect the patient's physical, emotional, and spiritual health. In addition to standard medical care, holistic nurses may use a range of complementary and alternative therapies to assist their patients in achieving optimum health and wellness. A more traditional approach to healthcare is allopathic nursing, on the other hand. This method typically focuses on using medications or surgeries to treat a disease or illness's symptoms. Allopathic nurses may resort to a range of medical procedures and diagnostic procedures. My experience in the past reveals that most patients choose the allopathic demanding providers with pain medications instead of finding the cause of the pain.
The Center for Health and Healing in Pearland, Texas, offers holistic and allopathic medicine with a focus on whole-person care. They use complementary therapies along with conventional medicine in an effort to achieve the best possible health and wellbeing for the mind, body, and spirit. Before a prescription for medication is made, alternative treatment options are presented. As well, they offer health coaching intravenous therapy, and acupuncture.

The article is well-written and incorporates an impressive discussion on the topic. However, the writer should have provided a citation for Pokhrel and Khanal. Although the citation is mentioned in the references, an in-text citation is missing. The writer should have included an analysis of what the authors say about stress assessment in the book. The writer has discussed valuable steps implemented during stress assessment. However, the writer should have highlighted whether they have been derived from the book for a clear description and analysis. The writer talks about stressors which are important to stress management as they help an individual discover the triggers. Some causes of stress can be regarded as stressors if they bring about excessive exertion and inadequate attention due to ineffective coping strategies and poor resilience (Robat et al., 2021). The writer analyzes what goes into each step which is interesting and educative. It shows that the plan of action has been prepared after analyzing what the patient is going through.
The writer has discussed ways of coping with stress. However, I wish the writer had delved deep into each method to discover how it can alleviate stress completely. The writ...
