Theory evaluation.
The paper has been written to evaluate the Orem’s theory. It includes a discussion about the accuracy of the theory, how the theory relates to the daily living, its strengths and weaknesses and its relation to the current nursing interventions (Gligor, L. et.al, 2020). An explanation of its social and cross culture relevance as well as its contribution to the discipline of nursing will also be included.
Accuracy/ validity of the theory.
The Orem’s theory is subdivided into three main parts. Self-care deficit theory talks about the need for nursing in a person life when they are no longer capable or have limitations in self-care. the theory of nursing system talks about the relationship to be taken by the nurse and the client as well as the nursing and educative systems involved (Fatmal. She also ensured that it can be applied by both the junior and advanced nursing practitioners and it provides a vivid understanding of nursing in terms of practice, education and administration (G...
