This review focuses on Jonah Granados’ intention to write about paleontology. Granados’ proposal is quite insightful, considering paleontology’s position in contemporary society. Paleontology is the scientific study of life before or during the Holocene epoch. The profession is highly extensive and focuses on fossils, organisms, and the interactions of living things in different ecological settings at the time (Black, 2021). Granados has noted that most people do not instill much value in paleontology as a profession. That happens even though it is the only profession that can predict the future and the reactions that organisms could have amidst changes like climate change. Persuading people into paleontology should be revolutionary to the world and the profession.
