Classroom Bulletin Board. Visual & Performing Arts Other
Suppose you need to create a proposal for bulletin boards in your classroom, which will change each month to reflect the following art forms, respectively:
-January: The Visual Arts
-February: Music
-March: Dance
-April: Theatre
-May: Film
Include the following in your proposal:
-A description of each board and the materials you will need to create it
-How the boards will be used to support instruction of your state's humanities standards
-Your opinion of the purpose of the arts and how they can support student growth and development
-Your own experience of the arts and their positive effects on your life
In addition to your proposal, you may storyboard your bulletin boards using pencil, or use a storyboard tool to create your vision of the board for each for each art form.

-January: The Visual Arts The board will look into the various genres of visual art including drawing, architecture, painting, photography, sculptural techniques and ceramics, interactive graphics and commercial art. Looking into what goes into making the visual at work and analysis of artists’ work selected for specific exhibitions will highlight how people interpret the world around them. Painting and photography do not require huge resources to be carried out and students are expected to participate directly, but there is flexibility as they choose themes in their works. This helps the participants to explore and express themselves as students and members of a community (Milbrandt et al., 2015).
February: Music The music bulletin board has notes where all the students can view and practice mainly using the piano where possible. This helps to students to understand composition and the differences in diverse genres, responding and performing and depending on the student work verses made they will be hang for anyone to view (Chapman, Wright & Pascoe, 2016). This is consistent with the aim to allow the students understand and appreciate music. At the same time, music is not only enjoyable, but also intellectually rigorous and improving music education can enhance the growth and well-being of students.
