American films have been very informative on social issues of discrimination based on sex, color, tribe, and education level. Of great concern are the atrocities faced in the films; The Black Power Mixtape 1967-1975, ‘Persepolis, Suleiman’s ‘Divine Intervention,’ “Bend it Like Beckham” (2003), and “Divines” (2015). They depict the sorry state of immigrants and the weaker society, especially women, immigrants, and refugees.
