Part 1:
As per the graphs in the spreadsheet, there exists a slight difference between the magnetic susceptibility. However, the magnetic curve seems to be almost ranging in the same values, although the age varies. Notably, the magnetic properties reflect mineralogy composition and size. The minerals controlling magnetism derive from lithogenic-parent material, pedogenic- the physical, chemical, and biological processes in soil, and anthropogenic, which is industrial particulate. Thus, soil magnetic properties in geologically different regions are influenced primarily by lithology, while different soil types play no role.
Magnetic susceptibility can be interpreted in the form of a flux of magnetic minerals. The silt carried by the river sediments has minerals, especially quartz minerals and mica, in equal proportions. In addition, the suspended load has significant iron and magnetite minerals along the sedimentary basins carried from elsewhere due to erosion, transportation means.
The flux is increasing in the period between 369 to 475 intervals between the whole period. This increase means that more minerals were deposited in the sediments between that period. On the other hand, the magnetic flux is the lowest between the 2555 interval and 321. This curve means that fewer minerals have been deposited in the sediments during this period.
Magnetic Susceptibility (MS) is defined as a constraint commonly restrained in lake residue hubs. Magnetic susceptibility (anisotropy) is not perfectly parallel with the inducing magnetic field. This parallelism depends on the direction of induced magnetization, which explains the difference in susceptibility. Ferromagnetism is a clear directive whereby the compelling atoms found in the realm possess their moments affiliated in a similar track. Ferrimagnetism, another type of magnetic order, macroscopically resembles ferromagnetism. Coupling of magnetic ions in different crystal places are usually opposed. The coupling occurs antiferromagnetically in that the opposing force is from antiferromagnetic. However, net magnetization occurs since the magnitude of atoms is unequal in different sites.
Part 2.
From the graph, the lead element in the basement of oceans has an irregular pattern with age—the curve changes, meaning that the amount of lead is also changing. Therefore, higher ratio values are depending on the isotopes of lead deposited in the ocean basins.
