Among the renowned pharaohs of Egypt was a female heir to the throne of Ptolemy XII, Cleopatra VII. Cleopatra VII took over the leadership of Egypt following her father's death, displaying exemplary leadership skills through which she overcame different challenges as the last reigning pharaoh of Egypt. Being one of the famous female leaders in the world's history, Cleopatra VII makes for an excellent choice to explore the leadership skills that propelled her to become one of the greatest pharaohs in Egypt. Cleopatra VII was the daughter of Pharaoh Ptolemy XII and his wife Cleopatra Tryphaena in 69 BCE.
