Being a second-year student in the RN program, the scholarship will be a game change to my routine, given that a nursing profession requires both physical and mental stamina. The practical skills and nursing concepts involved in nursing require an open mind to concentrate on the aspects involved fully. My short term goal is to continue with the BSN program in the four-year university program, and the fact that my attention is often divided in doing a full-time job, I believe the scholarship program will play an imperative role in not only reducing the financial burden but also allowing me to focus fully on my education.
