In this study, I want to use a case study method for collecting evidence. One of the reasons why the method is preferred over others is that it shows client observations. This means that the method will show that the incidence actually happened, and the effects that were experienced as a result of the economic violence in the area. The method will also allow a lot of detail to be collected by analyzing the opinion and findings of different researchers on the issue. Such detailed data may be difficult to collect using other forms of research designs. The data that will be collected using this method will be richer and of great depth that what might be collected using other experimental designs. Further, the data collected through a case study approach allows the findings to be generalized in the future. For instance, the findings from the study can be used to make the generalization that economic violence contributes to the displacement of people and economic recession in the affected region.
The case study method is also the method appropriate to use in testing the hypotheses formulated for this study. This is because the method helps researchers in adapting ideas and producing novel hypotheses that are then tested. In this case, the method will be used to test the hypothesis: terroristic protest led to population displacement and then led to economic decline.
