Individual values influence decisions, actions, and how people relate and treat others. These values also influence behavior in the profession, and one is more likely to work in an endowment where there is a cultural fit. There are different factors influencing human behavior including values and morality. However, being real and authentic can help people achieve their purpose (Friedman 29). Telling the truth requires expressing honesty, and respecting values are closely linked with respecting human rights. The most important values in my life are honesty, justice, freedom, and respect for dignity and privacy.
 Being honest with myself and others is closely linked with transparency, accountability, and integrity by doing what is right and being sincere regardless of the context. There is a moral sense of being just, and promoting justice requires consciousness, and when people know I am honest, they tend to trust me more. Honesty and trust are closely linked with each other and leaders who are trusted tend to get things done (Friedman, 49). The most trusted brands tend to be those that seem honest. There is consistent adherence to doing what is right in my personal and professional lives, and this value is helpful as honesty guides my decisions as I focus on truthfulness. Thus, I stand for what is right, and I do not merely follow codes of conduct and ethical values because I expected to, as I do what is just and in accordance with truth and justice. For instance, when I worked as a cashier and was in a position to overcharge customers and pocket money, I was truthful at all times (Friedman, 49).
Freedom is the capacity of a human being to act according to their values, criteria, reason, and will, with no other limitations and respect for the freedom of others. The value is closely linked with respect for the dignity and privacy of others. However, there is a sense of individual and social responsibility when people exercise freedom. I support people acting according to their wishes so long as they do not infringe on the rights of others and act without coercion and oppression by other subjects. As a free person, I act conscientiously for my own and the common good, but I do not impose my values on others.
