The geological time scale relates time with significant events that have had major impact on earth. However, up to date, the impact of human beings on planet earth, especially since the industrial revolution has not been documented. Nevertheless, human impact on earth is so significant that an entirely and distinct geological epoch; the Anthropocene should be declared. The declaration of Anthropocene will be a way of recognizing human activities that have set the earth on a different trajectory.
