Human freedom and self summary
Chisholm discusses several topics in summarizing of human freedom and self-work. He begins by describing human freedom in details. He summarizes a metaphysical problem of human freedom as human beings being responsible for any action done by them. Chisholm describes on a deterministic universe that all events human actions actively included goes on in line from previous events without portraying any likelihood that they would go on in a different way than they do put a stop to the likelihood that human beings are directly accountable or responsible for their performance or actions. To validate a persons’ libertarian philosophy, Chisholm sets out to give a vivid proof that human beings are responsible for their behavior and actions and also they are accountable for their thoughts, opinions, and feelings that lead to those actions. He goes on to suggest several solutions to answer this problem.
Chisholm believes that people must make some assumptions inside them about the man or the human beings who directly do perform the act.
