Art & Psychology: Final Paper

Your final assignment is a two- to three-page paper, double-spaced, with introduction, body of text, and conclusion, as well as references, which should use the Chicago Style of citation. The Chicago Style is available online. Just to give you an idea, when using the Chicago Style, you should number each citation after the quoted or paraphrased information, adding the bibliographical information at the end of your paper. There, under Bibliography, you can cite each number again, 1, 2, 3, etc., each with the appropriate bibliographical reference, cited by author, book title, page number, etc. That is what I need for your Chicago Style of citation.

The paper content:
Your paper should be a psychoanalytical and theoretical analyses of a film or book character, or a film or story style, or a series or style of artworks by one artist. It is important that you bring a short introduction to the film and character, book and character or style, or artistic body of work and style as a way to introduce the main source of your analysis. Also in your introduction of the paper, you should add your main question, argument, or reason why you chose the work you chose. This work should have already a potentially psychological source of issues, from which you develop your analysis.
In addition, to support your analytical ideas, draw from at least two main readings, each by different psychoanalysts or theorists addressing psychological views, which are included in your Canvas files. Make sure to cite these sources, and if quoting from them, add quotation marks and specific books, essays, and page numbers.

The scriptwriter, Nicolas Stoller, wanted to use Dora to show the importance of science and curiosity as well as the importance of being independent. Dora, despite being only sixteen, successfully brings out the themes of individualism, interest, and the importance of science.
