1. What will be your professional obligations and responsibilities as a health services executive?
As a health services executive my professional obligations and responsibilities would be to:
- Provide the best care facilities for patients with reasonable cost.
- Maintaining the clinician’s roster so there is no confusion in shift timings
- Ensuring customer satisfaction among all types of employees
- Adapting and obeying all the standardized health policies and processes approved by the government.
- Communicating with clinicians to address their requirements
2. As a professional manager, what will be your expectation of the organization of which you are a part?
The expectations I would have as a professional manager would be to always make sure we are providing the best quality of care, always motivation each other to grow and learn each an everyday from each other, always have an open mind when discussing issues, learn from your mistakes, and be accepting of constructive criticism. Also always looking for ways to improve.
3. What will be your role as an executive relative to the roles of the clinicians?
My role as an executive relative to the role of the clinicians would be to:
- Communicate with the clinicians to maintain inventory with the essentials
- Maintaining an overview of the roster of clinicians to ensure there is always a well-organized workforce.
- Understanding and accommodating to clinicians regarding certain matters like culture
4. As professionals, what are the reasonable expectations of clinicians (e.g., physicians and nurses) for their workplace and the organizations in which they practice? Likewise, what are the reasonable expectations of health services organizations for professionals who practice there?
Some reasonable expectations of clinicians in their workplace:
- Getting paid on time for the numbers of hours they worked
- Keeping a clean and comfortable work environment
- Providing the best quality of care to their patients
Some reasonable expectations of health service organizations would be:
- Ensuring patients are being provided with the best quality of care and safety
- Being well organized and keeping up to date records
- Always being on time.
5. What personal characteristics (e.g., values, traits) will be important to your success as a health services executive? How will your success be measured?
Some personal characteristics that are important to me as a health services executive would be to:
- Lead with honesty

My success with be measured by our organization’s success, reviews from clinicians and patients.
6. How do you believe the role of the health services executive will change over the next ten years or so?
In the next ten years I believe health services executives will change to 25 to 30% of offices are going to be remote in a healthcare. Majority of the job titles that work majority on their own. Technology is forever advancing.
7. If you were asked to give the “five most important rules/guidelines” for executives in working with physicians, what would they be?
- Communication styles
- Live by the mission, vision, and values

Professional Obligations and Responsibilities
Numerous professional obligations will be central as a health service executive. First, I will ensure that I provide the best care facilities for the patients at affordable prices. This will include a partnership with insurance service providers to ensure that patients receive the necessary care. Another fundamental obligation is maintaining the clinician roster to avoid confusion in the timing of shifts. This is essential to warrant quality care and timely service delivery. When the practitioner's duties are correctly assigned, the care outcomes will also be optimized.
