These guidelines can help one to become an ideal and distinctive poet. One of the most renowned writers worldwide is William Butler Yeats, who had a flourishing career in the 20th century. Yeats is an Irish poet, prose writer, and dramatist. His excellence lead him to winning the 1923 Nobel Prize Award in Literature. His journey began in 1883, as he entered the Metropolitan School if Art in Dublin. His talent in writing was furthered smoothened and levelled and due to this, he was able to publish his first feature in 1885 in the Dublin University Review. His years in school was followed by his mini steps toward his professional career as a writer. After his schooling, he went back to London and joined the Theosophical Society, an organization that served as a stimulus to his religious senses. Here, he envisioned poetic images, making scientific information repellant to his senses. Yeats also initiated learning about William Blake’s prophetic books and other classical and idealistic ideas involving Platonic, Alchemical, Neoplatonic, and Swedenborgian works. Love is an emotion that naturally comes into one’s life. It may come right now that you saw the ‘one,’ or it may have already been there for so long, but you were not able to comprehend it. Love is something that can be obsessed with. It gives more color to one’s life. However, if a poet fell in love, it may have an impact on his works. In the same year, as Yeats began exploring di diversity of imaginative poetry in London, he met the love of his life, Maud Gonne, who did not seem to love him in return. However, for Yeats, that kind of love is unpromising for it made blurry visions about his life, making the pair impossible. His love turned to obsession and the process of loving Gonne became fruitless for his career. Although Gonne clarified that Yeats was indeed admirable, she insisted that they were not compatible. This was not a hindrance for Yeats and he continued to pursue the young Irish woman. When asked about his perseverance, he mentioned that it was because Gonne was a woman of presence, who had all of the qualities that one would notice—patriotic, rebellious, and rhetorical personality.
