● Theme development is worth 35 points:​ Answer all relevant facts about the theme such as the who, what, where, when and why. Relate the theme to your own experiences.
● Clarity of ideas is worth 35 points:​ Write your essay in an easy-to-understand format. Leave your reader with a clear understanding of your explanation of the theme


What Is Patriotism to Me?
Patriotism is the love for one’s country. It differentiates loyalists from traitors. There are different ways that one can use to define themselves as a patriot. One could use an opportunity to enlist in the military to showcase their patriotism. Another person could dedicate their life to public service as a way of demonstrating their patriotism. All these are examples of what it means to be patriotic. This is an essay on what patriotism means to me.
