Distant Learning
For years, distant learning has been around. The explosion in web- and mobile-based platforms, applications and devices has made possible instant communication between millions in a matter of seconds. Tapping into Internet capabilities, each and every industry has invested in, or at least made a few steps into, online communication innovations. Similarly, education, long confined in physical classrooms, has identified in distant learning an invaluable opportunity to revolutionize education in every imaginable way. In contrast to conventional learning and education methods, distant learning has come reshape how administrators, educators, and learners engage in a unique education experience unprecedented in human history. By offering content for learners instantly and at much affordable cost, distant learning has gradually started to replace conventional learning methods and practices in classrooms. developments will continue to shape learning experiences and make conventional classroom
learning increasingly ineffective. This reflection essay is a pro distant learning argument
made more powerful by current evolving differences COVID-19 is increasingly
accentuating between an earlier world defending face-to-face and physical education at all
costs and for prestige and a second world, now in development, making distant learning an
everyday fact of life in classroom and beyond.
Consider current global landscape. Millions are now having an involuntary stay-at-home life. COVID-19, or Coronavirus, has made millions move online to work, communicate, play – and learn. Needless to say, million students now are using personal or provided computer or mobile devices to perform a range of educational activities. This applies to virtually everyone: from KG to graduate school students. Tapping into capabilities developed over years, million of students worldwide now are using distant learning methods to do assignments, debate presentations, submit papers...
