Where do You Want to Travel (I prefer Russia)
Russia is the realm of superlatives and is the most populous nation in the world. For instance, it incorporates almost twice as a similar region of Canada. I had the interest of visiting Russia since my childhood due to the unique culture, history, large size, different languages, and Russian people. Besides, its location in Asia is one of the factors that attracted me to this country. The country spans for the most time zones and consists of a wide variety of settings as well as landforms ranging from dry lands, semi-arid, arctic tundra, and deep forests. Russia has the largest lake known as Ladoga, which is also my major factor of attraction. The country also has Baikal that is the deepest lake and has the coldest temperature that comprises the region outside North and South poles (Balzer 105).
Furthermore, I also have the interest to meet the residents of Russia who are quite distinct. People in Russia do not only comprise of ethnic Russians but also 120 cultural populations with many languages due to dissimilar cultural and religious customs. I have the urge to research on the most populated areas in Russia. From the sources I have read, they show that the country has its population concentrated in the European portion, and this is a fertile region surrounding Moscow. St. Petersburg and Moscow are the two areas with many benefits to Russia due to them renowned as centers of culture and finance in the nation. The unique climate is another factor that I have an interest in my visit to Russia. The country has an extreme winter climate that acts as a barrier to daily life due to the limitation of farming of crops.
The paper provides some facts about Russia that most people need to be aware of that could attract their attention towards this country. I have six points that I will bring forth in this research paper for a better understanding of Russia. The facts make differences in my life as well as the life of other people around the globe. Russian geography is the primary factor that attracts many people in the entire world about Russia. The country consists of one-seventh of the landmass of the world with many time zones. The expansive landmass allows the state to neighbor more countries on the earth's surface, and borders 22 bodies of water and holds twelve seas. Russian culture is another crucial aspect of a nation. Russia has the most prominent cities with social lives similar to New York's vibrant phenomena (Ritschel 126). The whole world considers Russia as the best art institution that attracts most students and researchers from the United States. Besides, St. Petersburg has many libraries, museums, theaters, concert halls, and movie theaters. Therefore, these are more substantial facilities that I need to have a look at and cherish the religious and cultural traditions of the Russians.
Moreover, Russian history enables many people to trace the history of the ancient people inhabiting the country.
