Elephants, lions, tigers, monkeys and other animals do not choose to stand on their heads, ride bicycles, jump through large-sized rings of fire and balance on tiny balls. They perform these tasks as they feel fear of their supervisors or owners. They are also afraid of what will happen to them if they do not entertain the audience in a circus, and this leads them to do some of the trickiest and most unwanted tricks. Forcing animals makes no sense as it can injure them or cause problems for them in a lot of ways. Before or during the training, they are asked to act upon the advice of their master. They are prepared to wear tight collars, and to play with electric prods and other weapons. The current advertisement conveys an emotional message, in an interesting and engaging way.
Here it has been shown that a tiger is tied with ropes and forced to perform some tasks. If it does not do so, the master may not provide it with food or punish it by keeping its family members away from its reach for hours or days. The fact is that this tiger is not alone that is receiving these kinds of punishments. A large number of zoo and circus animals are trained by strict masters and urged to please the viewers through a number of risky tricks. No one understands that they can feel pain during this process; to their masters or owners, the only thing that matters is how to earn a lot of money using lions, elephants, monkeys, and other animals.
Unfortunately, there are hundreds to thousands of places across the globe where animals are forced to perform in confusing environments. From stage shows of Thailand to circuses of the United States to typical family programs of India, sensitive and intelligent animals are misused in a lot of ways. Currently, only a handful of welfare organizations are fighting for the rights of animals, such as Philippine Animal Welfare Society, World Animal Protection, American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals and Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals.
