o Examine how fairy tales and their influence have shifted or been adapted over time to reflect the changes in that culture.
o Include discussions about the cycle of culture's effect on fairytales and fairytales' effect on culture.

Fairytales have been critical sources of information, entertainment, and moral education for children across generations. Historically, fairytales have influenced societies in various ways, especially in reflecting various periods and world cultures. Cultures and fairytales have outstanding connectedness within communities. The storytellers in different cultures pass down fairytales across generations as one of the excellent ways of entertaining, informing, and warning children. Arguably, authors have developed various narratives to explain ideas that different things emerged. Besides, they narrate stories on critical issues, which people had with life lessons, morals, and families. Although each culture has unique narratives, people must have a comprehensive understanding of fairytales and ways that they might have evolved within various cultures and periods. Fairytales are essential ways of storytelling because of the capability of being recognizable even when the character and setting of a narrative might differ.
Fairytales authors and characters have chanted people across generations since the stories have been critical sources of entertainment, moral education, and warnings. The respective authors utilize a combination of elements of values and fantasy. Currently, authors have developed countless versions of classic tales in songs, films, and publications. However, some of the critics posit that suppressive values of dominant cultures lie beneath the whimsical demeanor of fairytales (Robinson p. 403). The respective authors and artists accommodate the needs of the audiences in their various literary works. The changes in behaviors and beliefs of a specific cultural group influence modifications of fairytales to suit the needs of people across generations. Considerably, the ancient narratives have unique differences from that of the contemporary world. For instance, the old fairytales infused ideas of hope and rebellion.
Fairytales in Western European Culture
Fairytales have maintained their status as a critical part of childhood instructions and guidelines in Western European culture.
