Living in cities can be challenging and for immigrants and those from the country side living in more homogenous communities, culture shock is one of the first things they encounter. Even though, though, Londoners speak English, the city attracts people from diverse places and some feel out of place in a diverse city. Those with an established support system who move to the cities are more likely to thrive, than those who are new and unfamiliar to the culture and people in the cities. There are diverse opportunities for those who choose to live in cities as the economy is diversified, but there is also risk of loneliness for those who fail to fit in.
