Part I. Reflection on the role of Time
Based on these readings and videos, my understanding of the role of time is summarized as a routine. Shu Ting's 'Assembly Line' poem gives me a perception of the use of time to express monotony. For instance, the use of trees and stars on continuous exposure to drought and unchanging path expresses deprivation of color and tiredness. On the contrary, our conception of work is time to take care of all interests without creating boredom and pressure. This is also expressed by the poem "Factory Town" by Tom Wayman by time breakdown. Based on the pandemic, I have experienced work changes regarding location, time, and how to undertake the work. First, the pandemic has allowed most workstations to incorporate remote working while still paying attention to time.
