Growing up in a family where parents valued spending more time with their children made us have a very close relationship. The close relationship made it possible for the parents to teach us many things related to spirituality, society, and personal life. Hence, this made us start to discern right and wrong. Reading through Susan Wolf's article Sanity and the Metaphysics of Responsibility, which discusses people’s responsibility for their actions based on free will, I find it captivating since it captures my past experiences. Susan argues that for an individual to be held responsible for their actions, they must be morally sane (Wolf 385).
On the other hand, for the person to be regarded as morally sane, they must have a background ideology that helps them differentiate between good and bad.
