Sophocles’ play entitled Oedipus Rex is perhaps one of the most well-known plays in literature. It follows the life, adventure, and tragedy of Oedipus, who has suffered in the end due to atrocious crimes that he committed. In this article, I would like to focus on the significance of blindness in the pursuit of truth and justice in the play.
