My Mother Inspired Me
My source of inspiration is my mother. I have been able to combat my life issues based on the lessons I learned from how she dealt with her issues and challenges. For many years, my mum had been struggling with accepting who she is. Her peers ad friends would always mock and tease her for being overweight. When going out for jogging or other exercises, she would always tire out easily. This would make her hyperventilate or wheeze so hard that she wold encounter breathing difficulties. Instead f helping her, her friends used to laugh at her and kept on telling her that if she did not watch out her weight, she would one day collapse. This often lowered her self-esteem as she alwas wanted to be a part and parcel of the modelling business. Hence, it made it difficult for her to associate herself with other students as they would always make fun of her before she even got to them.
At times I would find it hard to go to school or attend group discussion because she always felt uncomfortable and unwanted. Also, her parents were not that supportive in helping her combat these challenges which made the situation worse. Instead of tellingher that these were stages which people go through, they always yelled at her for always consuming too much junk food. Many thoughts often crossed her mind as she wondered for how long she would ensure all these mockery and feeling unwanted. Her siblings also did not help. They often teased her about her with as well. So, she often kept to herself without disturbing or interrupting other people while they were about their duties.
Back in the days, my mother used to consume a lot of junk food and did not look after her well-being. Regardless, she had a passion for being an air-hostess. She always wanted to attend to people in the air. And since she was familiar with more than two languages, she started applying for modeling in the various modelling agencies.
