Minor Assignment 4 - meta-cognitive reflection. Literature & Language

Having a course like this not only teaches us practical knowledge but it also trains us to think better and have a sharper sense when it comes to gathering information. This course has greatly enhanced my linguistic skills and it has granted me the confidence to communicate my thoughts with ease. In the beginning, I had a travel translating the flow of my mind into written words. I had a hard time creating content because I did not know how to arrange my arguments in a systematic way. Before, I was always feeling some kind of fear and discomfort when it came to writing because I did not have the proper guidelines for creating an effective essay.
At the beginning of this semester, I didn’t know how to formulate an outline and a complete a literary composition. I was not adept in writing, meaning I did not have proper skills in putting my thoughts into paper. I usually had jumbled ideas that did not made sense when read as a conducive work. However, slowly but surely, I learned how to strategize the presentation of my arguments. Through repeated reading and repeated writing, I was able to practice my own writing style. My once chaotic, and random thoughts were beginning to take on forms that were understandable and meaningful. There are a couple of things that have greatly enhanced not only my writing but also my own thought processes about information.
One topic that has greatly given me something during this course is the different research strategies. Choosing a strategy means that at the start of the research, one must already have a plan on how to proceed with the research and effectively direct the focus of the thesis purpose.
