Several people know and understand that Mark was the developer of the widely used social media platform, Facebook. Its development and fame owing to its ability to share information publicly, across the world, in the quickest way possible. Later, the addition of Instagram, Messenger, and WhatsApp beefed up the Facebook family and grew it to a collage of the world's most extensive social media package. The developer has a history, which the majority of the followers know loosely, and this essay seeks to address this.
According to the CNN Editorial Research (2020), Mark was born in 1984 in New York. The mother and father were a psychiatrist and dentists, respectively. He attended Harvard University to study computing, advancing his techniques in software development. While at Harvard, he managed to come up with a competition in which Harvard students competed by posting heir pictures, and people voted for the best of them. Later, this idea was improved through a website called ConnectU, while at the same University. Then in 2004, together with some friends, launched Facebook to connect students within the same University, expanded to some other schools like Yale, and spread across the United States of America. Today, his company's value is close to 400 billion dollars, with Mark's net worth hitting close to ninety billion.
Later, there were claims from his colleagues that he grabbed the idea from them. He won this and then expanded the use of this platform to several other people, children aged 13 included. In doing so, the world knew of it, used, adopted, and made it famous. With the growing number of people using this platform, the name of the founder became known to several people, making him one of the youngest and most influential CEOs in the world (CNN Editorial Research, 2020).
The membership of Facebook users increased, making it a proper venture to earn the owner some money. First, it came with mobile companies, that sold data, and installed their applications, then sales, and advertisements. The company later acquired WhatsApp, Instagram, Messenger, linked some of these platforms, and aided the communication between these platforms.
