Love from Nature

Essay Instructions:

Nature writing considers the beauty of the natural world as a way of exploring the interior world. For your final essay, you will write a reflection detailing your own relationship to a particular natural landscape. Focus on some aspects of nature. Zoom in on small details that contain the feeling or essence of the larger scene. Think of the moth in Virginia Woolf’s, “The Death of the Moth.”
Make sure to develop your essay through the use of contraries, creating tension that moves it forward and gives it significance.
1. In your first paragraph, write a description of the landscape.
2. Document the setting, the time of day or night, and anything that you feel will help paint a picture of your experience.
3. Remember the use of sensory detail. What do you feel beneath you, around you? What do you smell in the air? What kinds of things do you see?
4. Does anything happen that seems unusual or interesting? Why? Write down any thoughts, self-reflections, reactions you have. If you’re working from memory, you might reflect on a photo or video.

Love from Nature
The Yellowstone National Park is vast and cannot all be covered in one day. However, I have visited the national park thrice, and it is one of the memorable places in the US. There are the west, east, north, northeast, and south entrances, and I explored the park for the Montana side. The ecosystem is diverse, but the forest and Yellowstone Lake are unique features of the park. The varied and vast landscape makes Yellowstone national park one of the most unique. For instance, the Yellowstone River flows through the valleys and is visible in the less forested areas, while in some areas are deeply forested, and in others, it is open grassland. There are hundreds of trails, and in the background, the mountain and the trails make the location ideal for hiking. The Yellowstone National Park continues to be one of the greatest natural attractions in the US and is a source for outdoor activities, sightseeing, and having a relaxing time.
In each season, there are unique features such as wolf packs in the winter, but I visited in summer where there are more people and longer days. Before the trip, I focused on finding more information about the park than I already knew. Each experience is unique, and this makes the experiences unique. Using the already established hike trails, I began with the open areas. There was peace and tranquility in the natural environment compared to living a busy life in the city, and I had time to reflect on my life. The surroundings were claiming, and the largely undisturbed by human activities provided a relaxing feeling. Furthermore, looking back at my busy life, I realized the need to find inner peace by relaxing and focusing more on myself in the surrounding. Living a busy and hectic life can be unsettling, but I gathered my thoughts clear while being patient and more attentive to the environment while hiking.
While inner peace and tranquility are not dependent on external factors, positive feelings and emotions are essential. However, inner is not something that appears in the short-term and requires practice to make positive changes. In the open grass, there are few animals, but towards the more wooded areas, birds were chirping and creaking tree sounds. The forest nature sounds are in a more serene environment. As nature has less noise than residential areas and cities, there was a positive atmosphere. In any case, activities or behaviors that pose a danger to the conservation of the park are prohibited, and this extends to disturbing the plants and animals and prohibiting the introduction of plants or releasing animals.
When I left the park, my definition of happiness changed. Happiness was not associated with material possessions but with the quality of life. I realized that what really matters is the love of your family. So I decided to take back one of the most priceless things in the world, focusing on inner peace and tranquility....
