Metaphors and symbols are used to develop plot, theme, and character in deeper ways visually. Narrative writers create an exceptional metaphorical language and take different story telling techniques. Certain symbolic objects are placed at key scenes so as to enable development of plot character and theme. The use of images and contrasting of language provides an avenue for readers to reveal emotion in narratives. The readers are able to live the outside world and focus on the inner life of characters which depicts their image and behavior.
