The debate on the robots taking on the job markets is a sensitive one and requires a rather subtle evaluation to establish the basics and level the playing field for everyone (Tamny, 2015). Largely the debate has been closely associated with the idea that robots have taken away most of the jobs and they are an influx in unemployment. While this true, there is need to understand the logistics involved and the dynamic nature of job market along with the level of innovation in the current society (Metz, 2015).
One of the best examples is the robotic valet at the Dusseldorf Airport. At the touch of a button, a robot picks up the three-ton car into the air and fits it within an aerial parking space. This is a robotic system that was built by a German company called Serva Transport (Metz, 2015). A quick look at the system establishes that it saves time, space at the parking lot, safety and efficiency relative to parking.
