Stress in college
Mental health among college students has plummeted in the recent past, and there is a need for students to understand the trend since they are the custodians of the future. There are many factors that stress students in college and though they may be overlooked by other generations as ‘normal college life,’ it takes a toll on the students. The world has changed, and it has flattened, and college life for students has changed to mirror the society. Seemingly, college students might be accused of being lazy and not ambitious because the world has more opportunities than ever before. Most students are constantly being pushed to do better in a rather challenging world than ever before. The pressure brought by this ‘push’ has taken a toll on these young and inexperienced individuals who already feel like they have failed.
