I have always wondered how much money one should have to be happy. My grandfather once told me that money is like fire, it depends on how you handle it. Money can warm your feet or burn your socks. I didn't quite understand this saying, out of the experience, I have come to learn that too much money results to stress, isolation, and distrust (Wood, 2011). The irony of life is that as much as we struggle to work long hours to provide for our families, we easily lose happiness in the process of acquiring money.
