4. How many subjects were in the control group? In the intervention group? How many subjects were recruited?
5. What nutrition assessment methods were used (diet, anthropometric, clinica , a s).
6. What were the results?
7. How did they measure results? Describe. Use your own words, do not use method language from the study.
8. What benefit to nutrition and/or health might come from the study results? Are the results
relevant to the "average" American?
9. Who funded/ sponsored the study? Does the sponsor stand to gam from a specific
outcome? Use critical thinking.
10. Review the study references|How many references arethere? What is the oldest
cited reference?
C. Summarize the entire study in 2-3 paragraphs, include study results. Use your own words- do not copy from study. (5 points)
D. Finally, critique the study. (9 points)

IV. Your report should be submitted as follows:
A. Title page, including your name, course, instructor, and date of submission. (2 points)
B. The report should be typed. Answer all the questions. If the study does not include one of the question areas, be sure to note that.
C. Include a copy of the entire study.
V. Grading
This research review is worth a total of 40 points. The breakdown is as follows:
6 points—following directions, such as including a title page, choosing a RCT, choosing a nutrition study, including a copy of the study, etc.
4 points-grammar, spelling, and format 3 points —study name, author, date
5 points—study summary and review 13 points -answering questions
9 points—critique and reflection

I feel that the American Legislative process is flawed in that it is tedious and has many outside players interfering in the creation and passing of laws.
