The constitutional development was a long and laborious process, which was to redefine the American future. Several events occurred and led to back-and-forth development in the search for a proper rule of law. In its wake, a delegation from all the American states was invited to a Philadelphia conference in May 1787 to accent to the document. They, however, had concerns that had to be revisited later. National Archives (n.d) notes that the task would be handed to experts for proper ratifying and modification to suit the country’s intention. According to an analysis by Anderson (340), it is this ‘intention’ that defined the framers’ ideas of the constitutional experts. The framers were concerned about the words used in the document, which had to reflect the country’s right intention. With their visions focused on the country’s future, they defined what they expected to see in the constitution.
The framers understood that the country needed prosperity after the several challenges that Americans faced. This was not easy to achieve, so they had to seek robust individuals they also believed to be experienced. The experienced individuals understood the challenges the country faced and a forecast of the future they wished to achieve. The constitution would then be streamlined to the goals. Not everybody could do this, except people who understood all it took to deliver the objectives. They had to understand the policies, develop robust principles, and engrave in the document that the country would use later as a constitution. The procedure took a lot of time with voting, developments of acts, and amendments to the original constitution.
With the intentions well defined, the framers had to intertwine society’s development to the changes occurring then and now....
