Introduction
Although there was a lengthy discussion regarding the conversation I am about to join in, there is still much needs to be addressed. In their analysis regarding the “Veteran Issues,” they majorly focused on the psychological factors. The mental elements represent only a section of the problems affecting the people who have sacrificed a lot for their countries. The treatments which veterans get tend to differ from one country to the other. For some countries, the veterans are given special treatment through various government projects while in other countries they do not get any support.
Besides the support that they receive from the government, they also receive support from individuals and other non-governmental organizations. The support that they receive includes free medication, housing, and many others. The voluntary services offered not only benefits the veterans, but it is also the way of uniting the people. All the people are determined to achieve a common goal. Those still serving in the military are also encouraged to continue doing the good work because of the benefits they will get later in their lives.

Most of the veterans are faced with several health issues when compared to the civilians. In their line of duty, they are likely to get different injuries. Some of the injuries are life-threatening and could cause permanent disabilities (Carlson, 111). Additionally, they are likely to eat and drink contaminated water in the war zone areas.
The unfortunate thing is that the signs could start showing many years after they have left the service and it becomes more difficult for them to get treatment. It is a specific group of the population that requires special care, and in most cases, they fail to receive it. The health problems that they get are unique, and therefore there is lack of enough physicians to deal with such medical issues. Besides that, the physicians als...
