1 What is cultural diversity?
Cultural diversity entails acknowledging and appreciating that society is made up of different groups of individuals with varying beliefs on certain matters. As a result, individuals become more tolerant of one another because people understand that it is okay to have varying religious beliefs and sexual orientations. Therefore, cultural diversity enables people to live together in society despite belonging to different racial, ethnic, and cultural groups.

Cultural beliefs play a significant role in health care because they determine whether an individual will accept various medical procedures or not. It also tends to determine how a patient seeks care and from whom they seek it.
3 Provide at least three examples to support this statement.
Perception of death
Euthanasia may be opposed in cultures where people believe that life should not be ended regardless of the circumstances. Consequently, despite an individual suffering from a life-threatening condition that cannot be cured, euthanasia may still be opposed due to cultural beliefs. Hence, by learning about people's perceptions of death, the healthcare provider can determine what kind of end-of-life care to provide.
