Growing up, I have always dreamt of contributing to bettering humanity. This is a dream I have harbored from a very young age, I have always been passionate and motivated by issues affecting the vulnerable members of the society. It this goal that pushed me to pursue a certificate course as a nursing assistant. Ever since I got certified as a nurse assistant, I have embraced new challenges and continue to grow in leaps to take up advanced responsibilities.
In the past, I have worked with the mentally challenged and the elderly members of the community. Caring for these group of people has been rewarding and enlightening in equal measure. I believe this is a particular group to which my call to serve should benefit. It is for this reason that I am applying for a nursing course at Georgia Gwinnett College (GGC). I believe the training will help me leverage my newly acquired skills, knowledge, and exposure to offer excellent service to those in need of special care and long-term care.
