Merchant mariners are one group of individuals that I have envied over the years. They can transport cargo and passengers amid different nations along the coastlines and the United States of America. They have the luxury and pleasure to run and manage deep-sea water vessels, ferries excursion vessels, among others. Being a merchant mariner has been my aspiration as a child. The career path I choose to fulfill is offered at your esteemed institution. I, therefore, would like to be offered an opportunity for admission to the unlicensed apprentice program at Paul Hall Center.
I have great admiration for the institution founded in 1967. Paul Hall center is an affiliate to the Seafarers International Union, would be a humbling experience for me should I get admitted at the facility. I believe the training at the facility will impact all the necessary skills a mariner should possess. Paul Hall Center cannot compare the institution to any other Maritime Training Institution due to its vast experience and the resources it enjoys.
I have always been curious to explore the earth and witness the wonderful serene environment the sea has to offer. While growing up, I was exposed to Captain Cooks and the Adventures of Robinson Crusoe stories, and this developed my curiosity to explore the world even more.
